On The Ellen Show, Scherzinger revealed she loves taking ice baths. "I love ice baths, it's so good for your body but for me, it sharpens the mind like iron,' she said. 'It's all mental for me, I have to put on some music and go into a zone," she said. "Cold water immersion involves people immersing themselves in water at temperatures of less than 15°C to manage muscle soreness after exercise and speed up recovery time. There is some evidence to show that cold-water immersion reduces muscle soreness at 24-72 hours after exercise compared with 'passive' treatment, or rest. It is here that the research falls down slightly by not comparing the use of cold-water immersion to an active recovery of light exercise, or perhaps even more pertinently, a combination of the two," says the Mayo Clinic.

On The Ellen Show, she discussed her "sexercise" workouts with her boyfriend. "Do you know what I love about this in the videos?" she said about the sexy workout videos she posts. "We go like this, because he's a control freak and I'm a control freak, but in the videos we're really happy and really cute. He loves to work out, he keeps me motivated, and I motivate us on the videos."

Nicole is totally committed to fitness. "In a typical workout I would run on the treadmill maybe 20 mins, then try to do some squats, some sit-ups on the exercise ball, some yoga stretches," she told Women's Health UK.  "When I'm home I like to take a spinning class called Soul Cycle or I like to do hot yoga—a modified version of bikram yoga—or hiking, and core power yoga in LA."

Nicole eats herself skinny. "For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge. For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi. When I'm going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese. I love French fries, or crisps – salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots," she told Women's Health.

In addition to her boyfriend, Nicole has lots of workout support. "Me and my girlfriends support each other for the gym. Because, you know, it's hard to be motivated sometimes, so when you go you push each other, – we try to do different things," she explained to Women's Health UK. "We'll go hiking one day and then we'll try a sculpting hot yoga class, then we'll do a cardio. We just motivate each other."
